The background

Simply Beverages wanted to spotlight their new line of Simply Mixology juices as the perfect mocktails and mixers for summer. So we created the ultimate traveling party experience for people to try expertly crafted cocktails made with the new flavors.

The execution

Simply Mixology: The Bar Cart is a classic British double-decker mobile bar that carries a full-on mixology experience to wherever it travels. We completely gutted and transformed a GILLIG bus into a premium, cozy atmosphere with custom-built furniture and a rooftop bar that leaves visitors feeling right at home.

The classic Simply green exterior reflects the all-natural ingredients used in the drinks, while the vibrant and inviting interior makes people feel welcome. On the second floor, the open-air rooftop outdoor bar allows guests to soak up the sun while sipping on expertly crafted cocktails. We intentionally designed every part of the experience, from the vibrant wallpaper and unique decor to the Polaroid cameras and board games, to feel like a cozy house party with close friends.

We kicked off the Bar Cart’s summer tour in Los Angeles with a custom Simply Mixology drink menu, a live performance from artist Masego, and plenty of VIP guests. Everyone cozied up, sipped on drinks from the bar, and basked in the recipe for a perfect summer day.

The results

The traveling Bar Cart was one of the must-attend events of the summer and it became nearly impossible to get an invite. The double-decker bus experience continually went viral on TikTok, mixing things up every time it stopped in a new neighborhood. Partygoers shared their Simply Mixology recipes, bartending tips they learned from pro mixologists, and good vibes from the cozy backdrops.
