Hoxton Window Project: Mariana Rodrigues
This month’s Hoxton Window Project was all about fighting the winter blues with some good old fashioned flower power. London-based illustrator Mariana Rodrigues painted a beautiful garden onto our windows, a world of dazzling colour filled with various birds and animals.

Unlike past HWP artists, she used nothing but acrylic paint to create her artwork, which made our windows look like magnificent canvases.

Mariana is represented by Jelly London and has created work for a number of clients, including VOGUE, the musician Patrick Watson, Country&Living, Work Club for Original Source and Orion Publishing.
Mariana’s multi-layered illustrations are based on deconstructing things — often nature — and reassembling them into a new, imaginary whole. She loves intricate patterns, symmetry and never-ending details. You can check out her work here.
