Hurricane Irene made landfall in New York City. While most followed orders to stay indoors during the storm, Lefty went out to explore and document the empty streets of their Manhattan neighborhood. This short documentary mood piece was edited in a day, but with its strong sense of style and tone went on to become a viral hit.
